Your tasks
are yours.
The short version: Your tasks stay on your device. Planch does not sync them, upload them, sell them, read them, or use them for ads. Delete the app, and the tasks stored by the app are deleted from your device.
What stays on your device
Planch stores the information it needs locally on your device so the app can surface the right task at the right time:
- Your tasks - titles, type (Small Task, Project, Decision), contexts, deadlines, and delay history.
- Notification preferences - whether deadline alerts, Repair warnings, and the daily focus nudge are on.
- App settings - preferences that keep the app working the way you configured it.
What we never do
- We never upload your tasks to our servers.
- We never sell or rent your task data to anyone.
- We never show third-party ads inside Planch.
- We never read the content of your tasks to build an advertising profile.
Where your tasks live
Your tasks live in local storage on your device. They are not transmitted to Planch, cloud infrastructure, analytics tools, or advertising networks.
Notifications
If you turn on notifications, Planch schedules them locally on your device. You can turn them off at any time in Settings, and your tasks still stay on your device.
Purchases
Planch uses Apple's In-App Purchase system and RevenueCat to record and analyze purchases and subscription status. Purchase information, such as product identifiers, transaction or subscription status, and a randomly generated anonymous app user identifier, may be sent to RevenueCat. This information is used for purchase validation, restoration, app functionality, and subscription analytics. Planch does not send task contents, contact information, or advertising identifiers to RevenueCat, and this information is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Website analytics
When you visit planch.app, we keep limited first-party analytics so we can understand which pages are useful and whether people use the App Store links. This website data is separate from the tasks stored in the Planch app.
The website may record the page path, time of the visit, referring website without its query string, browser user agent, broad device type, country, and App Store link placement. To estimate human visitors without retaining the address itself, the website converts a trusted network address into a pseudonymous identifier using a private server key. The original address is not stored, and the count remains approximate because networks and addresses can be shared or change.
This information is stored in our own website database, is not used for advertising, and is not sent to a third-party analytics provider. We do not use an analytics cookie. Analytics events are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Your data, your call
You are always in control:
- Edit - change your tasks, contexts, deadlines, and preferences directly in the app.
- Delete - remove tasks in the app, or delete the app to remove the app's local data from your device.
- Correct - edit or update anything stored by the app directly in the app.
Because Planch does not store your tasks on a server, there is no server-side copy for us to delete, read, restore, or transfer.
Children
Planch is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
